Is it just me or does it seem like every week the media is highlighting a new “miracle food” or diet plan that claims to be the solution to all your problems?
Are you thinking about your next breath? Of course not, if we had to consciously think about each of our nearly 20,000 breaths per day we would never get anything else done, so it’s nice that it runs on auto-pilot. Not having to be conscious of our breath is a nice feature, but it can make us unconscious of how we are breathing.

What started out as a week long nutrition celebration in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; has now turned into an entire month to educate, inspire, celebrate and encourage everyone to lead healthier lives. So this entire month of March there is no better time than now to eat well to live well!
