Is it just me or does it seem like every week the media is highlighting a new “miracle food” or diet plan that claims to be the solution to all your problems?
Do you obsess about what you eat? When you eat something that you think you shouldn’t, do you often find that it’s hard to stop, but then feel overwhelmed with guilt afterwards? Do you often feel deprived? Do you find yourself still searching for the right diet out there that will finally work for you?
Ditch that junk food in the pantry, take a trip to the farmers market and stock up on your favorite fruits and veggies – it’s National Nutrition Month! What started out as a week long nutrition celebration in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; has now turned into an entire month to educate, inspire, celebrate and encourage everyone to lead healthier lives. So this entire month of March there is no better time than now to eat well to live well! Drastic changes to your lifestyle can be tough; however, what about those small changes that add up to make a big difference?
